10 miles beneath our world...lies Xibalba
What if not every dinosaur met a cataclysmic end when a fiery asteroid collided with Earth 65 million years ago? What if a lucky few burrowed deep underground to escape the devastation, and over the eons evolved, developing speech, written language, and advanced technology long before man first walked the earth?
Well, it’s true. All of it.
Over the eons, the ruthless, meat eating Komoids became the rulers of the underworld, enslaving the Hadroids — the descendants of prehistoric plant eaters. And while the Komoids have long yearned to once again rule the surface, their subterranean adaptations were so complete that Earth’s surface became no more hospitable to them than the peak of Mt. Everest is to man.
And so it would have remained if only 8-year-old Travis and his archaeologist mother, Debra, had not flown into an eerie, secluded valley deep in the war torn Tian Shan in search of the ancient, underground city of Xibalba — a city ridiculed as fantasy by her colleagues. But when they discover a mysterious pyramid, it seems her quest might not have been crazy after all.
While Debra searches for clues to the entrance of the lost city, a bored Travis wanders off to explore the pyramid’s secret inner chambers. There, he accidentally opens a hidden and seemingly bottomless pit. He slips, nearly plunging to his death. As Debra pulls her son to safety, she loses her footing. Travis can only watch, horrified, as she tumbles into oblivion. Little does he realize that the day’s tragedy has set in motion events that put all of humanity at risk.
Now 15 years later, Travis, still haunted by guilt, has returned to Tian Shan to recover his mother’s remains and redeem her legacy no matter the cost.
After Travis makes a series of risky decisions, he, his gorgeous British counterpart and the rest of the archaeology team are captured by the lizard-like Komoids and taken to their scalding hot, underworld city…oblivious that they hold the final key to the Komoids’ return to the surface within their own DNA.
But before Travis and his companions can be turned into lab rats, a group of insurgent Hadroid slaves, led by the mysterious Vayu, rescue them. Travis must now put aside his personal quest and, with the help of Vayu, save his colleagues and humanity from what lies…BELOW!

TONE: An action-packed thrill ride in a PG-13 package. Think of “Journey to the Center of the Earth” played out on one of the intelligent alien worlds of the “Star Wars” universe.
LOGLINE: While attempting to prove his missing mother’s scoffed-at theories, a reckless anthropology student discovers a civilization of evolved dinosaurs living deep below earth’s crust and must put aside his personal quest in order to save his colleagues and humanity.
